Implementasi Pelayanan Berdasarkan 1 Petrus 4:10 dalam Meningkatkan Keterlibatan Pelayanan di Persekutuan Oikumene Yogyakarta

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of ministry based on 1 Peter 4:10 in enhancing ministry involvement within the Yogyakarta Ecumenical Fellowship. It emphasizes that ministry involvement is a means to hone the God-given talents possessed by each individual. 1 Peter 4:10 states that every believer has received a gift from God and is called to use it as a good steward to build up the body of Christ. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method, utilizing literature review, observation, and interviews with leaders, administrators, and congregation members involved in the ministry. Data were processed through reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that understanding and applying ministry principles based on 1 Peter 4:10 motivate the congregation to hone their talents and participate in ministry. The author concludes that implementing ministry based on 1 Peter 4:10 yields positive results regarding ministry involvement in the Yogyakarta Ecumenical Fellowship. Therefore, the fellowship needs to provide space and opportunities for willing learners, as well as offer guidance, mentoring, and empowerment to enable the congregation to serve to their fullest potential in accordance with their respective gifts.
